A Portuguese Farewell and a South African Hello

Lisbon has been our home for nearly a decade. From the morning sunshine hitting the tiles in Alfama to the long evenings spent overlooking the Tagus, we have built a life here that we truly adore. Charlotte found her passion for pottery in a small studio in Bica, and Jeffrey has probably consumed his body weight in pastéis de nata over the years. We are leaving with heavy hearts but excited spirits as we prepare for our big move.

Cape Town beckons as our next chapter. It is a decision driven by family, sunshine, and the irresistible call of the Atlantic. Moving across continents is a massive undertaking, which is why we are letting go of almost everything we own. Every item in this sale has been part of our Lisbon story, from the kitchen table where we hosted countless dinners to the tools Jeffrey used to keep our apartment together. We hope they find wonderful new homes.

Support Our Next Chapter

While the garage sale helps us significantly with our relocation costs, some friends have asked how else they might be able to help. If you would like to contribute to our journey from Lisbon to Cape Town, we have set up a small support page. There is absolutely no obligation to participate, but your kindness means the world to us.
